Horror Movies! The perfect blend of a spooky house, a new family, and scary music. What a lame? Nevertheless, I like horror movies because after watching them I don’t feel alone.

I watched the trailer and thought, it would be boring stuff but it turned out to be a f@*$in HORRIFYING. A good blend of horror, thriller, and mystery.

A slow-burning, authentic, and a really scary movie. A highly under-rated film, supposed to get more attention than it got.
3. It Follows
Love, sex, shame and HORROR. Spoiler Alert! A woman was followed by a super-natural creature after a sexual encounter which would kill her. The only way to get rid of it is to have sex again and pass it to others.
WHAT A F*&%ING STORY!
This was something new to me and trust me guys, more than horror it’s disgusting. A young vet developed a great desire for human flesh. During the “Toronto International Film Festival,” this movie caused people to faint.
5. A Nightmare on Elm Street
This movie certainly justifies its name. As Nancy said, “Whatever you do, don’t fall asleep”. Spirit of a murdered child seeks revenge from his murderer by invading his child’s dream. This film is so popular that, now it became a cult classic and you will not call yourself a true horror movie lover if you have not watched this.
6. The Cabin In the Woods
An Academy Award-winning movie, in which a group of friends go for a vacation on a remote cabin where they find some strange things are happening and discovered the truth behind this cabin.
7. Rosemary’s Baby
A wife becomes mysteriously pregnant when a new couple moves to a new apartment. It is a haunting tale of Satanism, Rosemary, and her unborn child. The film is based on the book with the same name.
8. Paranormal Activity
This film needs no introduction. Oren came with something new in the horror film segment and delivered a frightening film. This kind of movies goes to the nerves of the audiences.
Bollywood has always been criticized for its senseless movies and then this film released which received positive feedback from both critics and audiences. A must watch mythological horror film, one of it’s kind.
A new couple adopted a 9 years old girl after losing their unborn child. Soon after the adoption, this couple discovered that the girl is not as innocent as she seemed to be.
The daughter of the matriarch of the Graham family revealed the terrifying secrets of their family. The more she reveals, the more tragic and disturbing events occurred.

13. The Witch
With an age-old concept of witchcraft, black magic and possession, Robert Eggers; writer and director created this frightening tale of a family. England, in 1630, a family of farmers run into the deep forest when the church threatens them to exile. The test of faith, love, and loyalty of each family members begin when the strange and unsettling event starts to happen.
14. The Skeleton Key
Though this film is rated 14+, I’d suggest you keep your young adults from watching this film. A well-told Southern Gothic horror tale which no one ever seems to remember.
15. Question Mark
A group of friends went to a farmhouse to shoot a film for their project but never returned. After a couple of weeks, their camera was found.
16. A Tale of Two Sisters
Horror, drama and a psychological thriller Korean film is a masterpiece. A family was haunted by a series of death in their family.
17. The Ring
A film which needs no introduction. A journalist investigates a videotape, which causes the death of anyone who watched it.
18. A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night
A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night and who bites as well. This film reminds me of a 1936 horror film ‘DRACULA’S DAUGHTER’. You might have guessed now what is the core plot of the movie.
19. Noroi: The Curse
A Japanese footage film from 2005 in that genre and probably one of the most terrifying film I’ve ever watched. The movie is a paranormal documentary where the filmmaker goes missing after completing his documentary.
20. The Autopsy of Jane Doe
A supernatural suspense movie where morticians trying to figure out what’s going on through scientific methods against a supernatural threat.
21. The Wailing
A Korean horror-thriller film. The perfect mix of a Korean shaman, a ghost, demons, and a zombie-like virus; probably from the Umbrella Corps.
