India: Home of 38 Wolrd Heritage Sites Inscribed by UNESCO That You Should Put In Your Bucketlist

Sites recognized by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization(UNESCO) are important places for cultural and natural perspective. UNESCO inscribed total 1,121 sites in the world out of which 38 are in INDIA. UNESCO categorized these sites in cultural, natural, and mixed. India has 30 cultural sites, 7 natural, and one mixed.

There are few sites like Kumbh Mela which is organised in every 12 years in different holy places in India viz. Allahabad in Uttar Pradesh, Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh, Haridwar in Uttarakhand and Nashik, Maharashtra is also selected in UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage Lists in 2017
